We currently have a vacancy for an Accounts Assistant to join the Central Finance Team with Leonardo UK Ltd at our site in Basildon.

What you will do

Responsible for : –

  • Processing bank transactions in PITECO (The companies cash management system) for specified bank and loan accounts ensuring that they are analysed, posted into SAP in a timely manner and in line with Treasury requirements and the period end timetable.
  • Allocation of cash receipts in SAP.
  • Monthly Balance Sheet control account reconciliations for bank, loan and cash related accounts.
  • Processing PITECO Journals and checking PITECO Reporting
  • Creation of Direct Debit file for AP Processing
  • Create / amend Vendor accounts on both SAP and SAP Central
  • Creation of EPA File for weekly Expense payment run and check personal Expense > £1k
  • Support for the Administration of the Companies Credit cards
  • Monthly reporting for the Companies Export Insurance Declarations
  • Ad hoc duties as identified by line management.
  • Work alongside Team members providing cover for the following :-
  • Revaluation of Currency bank Accounts
  • Maintenance of monthly cash receipts file.
  • Running debtors file at month end
  • Ad-hoc SAP Journals

What we are looking for

Personal attributes : –

  • Computer literate
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Numerate

Experience : –

  • MS Excel
  • Accounting systems (Preferred SAP experience but not essential)
  • Previous accounting experience
  • Accounts transactions processing
