We are looking for an administrator to manage the day-to-day running of the Visitor Communications Department. The Department looks after the public information service, internal communications for front-of-house teams, visitor feedback, and onsite communications at Tate’s London sites.
You’ll be responsible for a wide range of activities, including rotas, budgets, meetings logistics, office management and project coordination. As well as supporting the team, you’ll be able to lead on projects, contribute your ideas and help innovate new approaches.
You will have a proactive, flexible approach, excellent interpersonal skills and good experience of developing and managing administration systems in a busy environment.
Tate aims to attract and retain talented people from all backgrounds. We particularly encourage applications from Black, Asian, ethnic minority, and/or disabled applicants as these groups are currently underrepresented in the cultural sector and in the Visitor Communications Department.
Successful candidates will have access to a range of benefits, including 25 days annual leave entitlement, rising to 27 days pro rata after 3 years of service; an extra day off for your birthday each year; a cycle to work scheme; opportunities for blended and flexible working; free access to Tate exhibitions and other museums and galleries; Life Assurance; and a ‘Defined Contribution’ pension scheme with generous employer contributions. Successful candidates who are already members of the Civil Service Pension Scheme or have recently left the scheme may be eligible to remain as members of this scheme instead.
