The National Association of Schoolmasters Union Women Teachers is the largest union representing teachers and headteachers throughout the UK. The NASUWT is the only TUC – affiliated teachers’ union to represent teachers in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. NASUWT is not linked to any political party. Its aim is to serve the best interests of teachers no matter what party forms the Government at national or local level. The NASUWT headquarters is at Rednal, Birmingham and there are Centres in Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, London and all the English Regions.
